One fine weekend

The day began with a happy feeling and a stress-free mood... I didn't have to think about what time I needed to get ready to go to work. Although it was a holiday, I still woke up early to solat Subuh, even after Subuh, my eyes were wide awake and did not feel like sleeping back. I guess 'tidur lepas Subuh' is no longer part of me and I am very happy about that. Abang asked me whether we should workout together, then he came up with the idea of us cycling to the nearest nasi lemak stall and get breakfast for the whole house. It was a good idea... so the two of us went cycling. I never got to enjoy the peaceful ambience of Country Heights at 7.30 am until that morning, it was fun cycling, although I wished that I was more fit.. hehe. But it's ok, there no hills along the way. So we bought nasi lemak for the whole house. After breakfast, we started packing. At about 11 am, we were already in the van. Aiman drove and Abang was his co-pilot.. Mak and Ayah were busy minding their own business at the back seat, while Tiyah and I chit-chatted along the way... Sofiya... as usual, sleeping! She loves being in the car, she slept all the way, then when we got to the hotel, she woke up. How smart, eh?

We got to PD at about 12.30 pm, had lunch then checked-in to our rooms. The view was so beautiful, we booked the sea view room and it was indeed a moment to treasure. Sometimes I wished that my daily life was like this, but then I thought, I wouldn't appreciate this moments like this if it comes too often, correct? I'll just take things for granted. Anyway, after we checked-in, we rested for a while, I slept for about 2 hours, then Mak SMS-ed and suggested that we should go to the pool together... agreed by everyone. Hence, we went to the pool, the ladies looking like Teletubbies in the Muslimah swimming outfit... who cares, right? All I can say was that we had fun. Ayah didn't swim because he wanted to look after Sofiya while we swimming. Motherhood changed Tiyah so much because while we were swimming, every once in a while, Tiyah kept on checking out on what Sofiya was doing, the moment Sofiya put her fingers in her mouth, Tiyah was already worked up thinking whether the baby wants to be fed, hehe. She is a very committed mother and I just love seeing how she makes motherhood seems so easy and doable by everyone!

Later, we had our candlelight dinner... it was supposed to be couples at separated tables, but we requested for all the tables to joint together. The dinner was good, I had salmon... I'm a big fish fan! After dinner, the ladies went to the spa, got our massage. I slept 90% of the way, so basically, I didn't know what was happening... it was a tiring day. The boys watched football in the room, there was a Man-U match I think... lucky it was on, so we got to keep our boys + 1 baby girl occupied.

The following day which was on Sunday, had breakfast together, then went to the spa again. At 12 pm, we checked out and had our lunch by beach. We had nasi ayam... but it cannot beat Mak's recipe for nasi ayam, it's the best. After lunch, we headed back to Kajang... as soon as we reached home, Abang and I got ready to go to Nilai for Farhana's housewarming party. Loved her house, very cosy! The food was good too. Then rushed back to Kajang because I was supposed to meet Husna at KLCC by 6 pm, poor her, she waited for ages because I reached KLCC at about 6.40 pm. It was raining heavily, I could only drive up to 70 km/H due to safety reasons. I was so thankful when I reached KLCC safely, cannot imagine how I got the courage to drive alone in the heavy rain... but I believe, Allah is always with me. We hung out at Miss Kwan's cafe, the one beside the Madam Kwan... I had ABC and pinched some of Husna's food (don't know what the name was), it was good. Left at 9 pm, sent Husna back to TTDI... it was an enjoyable ride, catching up with our latest updates, at the same time trying to figure out how to get to her brother's place. Hehe. Thank God we finally found the place with the help of her sis-in-law's direction.

Reached home at almost 11 pm and watched SITI's show with Mak and Ayah on the show. They make me really proud, loved seeing Ayah playing the guitar! I had such a wonderful weekend. Cannot wait for the next holiday, which will months to come. I felt so motivated to get back to work... SERIOUSLY!
