Family day out

I love post-calls. Post-call is a situation when you were on-call last night. The reasons why are:

1. Let's say if a friend didn't turn up for work and he/she was supposed to be on-call on that day, I will never be chosen to replace him/her because I just had my call, so I'll always be safe. :P

2. As I am about to punch out my card, I get really super excited when I think about being home and meeting my husband and family. It's not like any other day, because being away from my bed for one night makes me appreciate it more... nothing feels like home.

3. I feel good about myself since I knew that I had sacrificed my sleep for the sick. :D

And.... I certainly loved my post-call yesterday. The rounds at the ward was quick so I got to be home by 12.15 pm! Yeay!!! Oh yeah, on Saturdays and Sundays, we finish early, half day. When I got back, my husband wasn't around, so I used the opportunity to sleep and sleep... since we were going for a movie at 4.30 pm. We went to watch Toy Story 3 in Pavillion, it was just the 4 of us, none of the in-laws followed along. It's been so long since we went out as a family and it was really nice. The movie was really good, we enjoyed the movie all along. And it's the first time that my dad didn't sleep during the show, haha. He always sleeps whenever we go for movies, but not this time. The characters were so funny and the story line was written smartly... the movie managed to touch our emotions that we cried towards the end! I won't say more, don't want to be a spoiler.

Today, I am enjoying my Sunday off. I slept back after Subuh and got my room organized, which was due a long time ago.
